Our Best Show Yet!

The 2023 Sacramento TIP Challenge and Wild Showdown Open Mustang & Burro Show was a HUGE success. Trainers really brought their A game and some absolutely gorgeous mustangs and burros to showcase. Our Open show was one of the biggest we have ever had and wow did people bring some stunning and extremely well trained mustangs & burros to show off! We want to thank the Western States Horse Expo for hosting us!

Did you miss out on all the fun and excitement? The 2024 TIP Challenge & Wild Showdown is currently in the planning stage! It will be going back to it's original place in Las Vegas, NV!

Tentative dates are pick up in November 2023 and compete in 2024. We are hoping to have a ridden division this time!

Please fill out the interest form to get on the list to be notified FIRST when plans are solidified and applications come out!

The Grit & Grind Habit Challenge!

The Grit and Grind Habit Challenge is open to all 2023 Sacramento TIP Challenge participants who picked up an animal on February 17 or 18th from Litchfield or Ridgecrest.

Prizes and money are awarded for the following categories:

  1. Most days worked

  2. Most hours worked

  3. Most consecutive days worked 

  4. Most times posting on social media​

Challenge Rules:

  1. Must be entered in 2023 Sacramento TIP Challenge and have picked up an animal February 17 or 18th from Litchfield or Ridgecrest

  2. Must enter each day you work with your animal the day of. May not enter a previous date. If you miss entering a day you miss getting to record that day.

  3. Entries will start Monday, March 6, 2023 and run until June 4, 2023.

  4. Everyday you work your animal, come here and enter using the "Daily Training Log Entry" button

  5. This is on the honor system! We can tell if you don't work your animal as much as you say you do!
